You will learn:
- An introduction to soap ingredients and natural additives
- How to choose the right ingredients for your soap
- Tools and equipment needed to make your soap
- Safe handling of sodium hydroxide (lye)
- How to make cold process soap from scratch
- Common essential oils and their potential benefits
- How to design, cut, cure and store your soap
No equipment or PPE will be required for the class. You will have fun viewing and testing an extensive collection of soap ingredients, essential oils, clays, natural colorants, exfoliants, and more. All chemical mixing with sodium hydroxide will be done in the demonstration only.

Important Information:
- Do not come to class if you are feeling unwell. We all want to stay healthy.
- Some people are sensitive to certain ingredients, especially essential oils. Please refrain from participating in the tactile portion of the demonstration if you have any known allergies.
- Each class session is limited to 15 students. Please register early to reserve your space.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee refunds if you are unable to attend. Please let us know, and we can see if someone on our waitlist is interested in your ticket!
- Our class sessions are for people 18 years and older.
